Renee Hopkins (renee@edit-work.com) is Web editor for a marketing research firm. She has worked on both features and business news desks for The Dallas Morning News, and written about business news, general features, food, and music for that newspaper and for many other newspapers and magazines. Later, she was managing editor at D Magazine, the Dallas city magazine.

After leaving print journalism, she worked as a Web project manager for Harcourt College Publishers, setting up their editorial style and procedures guides for the Web, and establishing copyediting procedures for use with freelance copy editors.

She has also taught freshman composition at the University of Texas-Arlington, where she received an M.A. in the Rhetoric program.

Tom Kinsey (tom@edit-work.com) is the owner and editor of the soon-to-be-published FlyoverForum.com. He received his first computer training on U.S. Navy mainframes, then worked as a field engineer for Unisys and for Panasonic. As a freelance technical writer and editor, he has written print and Web content for many clients, such as Motorola, IBM, and Harcourt College Publishers.
